DUST STORM EXPECTED IN KUWAIT TOMORROW

Kuwait City : Strong dust storms are expected in Kuwait tomorrow, Monday, May 30, after midday, according to the Kuwait Meteorological Agency. Winds gusting up to 55 kilometres per hour were predicted.


The winds, according to Yasser al-Balushi, head of the department's Marine Forecasting Division, may generate violent dust storms in open places, with visibility as low as 1,000 metres at times, and sea waves as high as six feet.

On Monday, astronomer Adel al-Marzouk predicted dusty weather with gusts of up to 42 km/h. He predicted that the dusty weather will last until Wednesday.
