IN KUWAIT, THERE ARE SAID TO BE 26 TRAFFIC FATALITIES EVERY MONTH

Kuwait City: Five Egyptian nationals died in a tragic car accident yesterday morning on the sixth ring road to Jahra. Four people, including a citizen, were injured. Figures show that 832 people, including citizens and residents, have died in traffic accidents in the country in the past 30 months. 2020 total 352 people died in road accidents. Figures show that 323 people lost their lives in 2021 while 157 people died so far this year.


It is estimated that 26 people die in road accidents in Kuwait every month. Authorities stressed the need for drivers to obey traffic laws to protect their own safety and the safety of others. He warned that using a mobile phone while driving, crossing a red light and speeding at permissible speeds could have serious consequences.
