15 PEOPLE WERE SHOT DEAD IN A BAR IN SOWETO TOWNSHIP, SOUTH AFRICA

According to officials, at least 15 individuals were shot and killed in a pub in the South African township of Soweto.

Early on Sunday morning, according to police, gunmen allegedly broke into the Orlando East bar and began firing indiscriminately at a crowd of young people.

After that, they escaped the area in a white minibus. According to authorities, no reason for the incident has been found.

According to Nomsa Maseko of the BBC, additional patients are being treated in the hospital in critical condition.

The victims' ages range from 19 to 35, according to estimates.
