SIX PEOPLE ARE KILLED IN SHELLING DURING THE UKRAINE WAR AS A NEW ASSAULT APPROACHES

As Russia plans its upcoming military operation, shelling in an eastern Ukrainian village has killed six people. According to rescue personnel, five dead were discovered in the wreckage of a house in Toretsk, in the Donetsk area, and a sixth person passed away in a hospital.

Russia looked to be reorganizing for an onslaught against the nearby city of Sloviansk, according to the Ukrainian military. Pro-Russian separatists took control of the city in 2014 and held it for about three months.

It is now poised to serve as a major battleground once more. The initial war objectives of Russian President Vladimir Putin have been significantly scaled back since their assault started in February.
