KENTUCKY FLOODS, 37 DEAD, HUNDREDS STILL MISSING

  • 02/08/2022

In eastern Kentucky, where additional rain is expected, at least 37 people have now perished in flash floods.

Six kids, including four siblings between the ages of one and eight, who were apparently swept from their parents' grasp, are at least among the deceased.

As "hundreds" are still missing, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear predicted that the death toll would keep rising.

Numerous homes and businesses have been flooded, and more than 12,000 residents still lack electricity.

According to the governor, it will cost millions to repair the damage to the roads, bridges, and other infrastructure.
