PAM REVEALS ERRORS IN IRAL NEWS ON VISA TRANSFERS

Kuwait City: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has clarified that the recent news about allowing the transfer of residency for employees under fictitious or blocked companies to new legitimate employers was untrue, as it was reported in some newspapers and on social media.


The authority made it clear in a press release that the opening of avenues for labor complaints is based on articles and items contained in the labor law and regulations issued by the authority in this regard, especially the administrative decision No. 842/2015 concerning the transfer of an employee to a new employer (sponsor) and its amendments. 

PAM affirmed that there is no information in the circulating news regarding the residency transfer that is relevant to the items, regulations, and amendments in this regard in the labor law articles.
