KUWAIT WILL ESTABLISH A GLOBAL TREATMENT FACILITY TO COMBAT DRUG USE

Kuwait City: The ministerial committee in Kuwait decided to start a national campaign to fight drug addiction through awareness, control, and treatment. In a meeting presided over by Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Sabah, the Council went over a thorough presentation on the dangerous spread of the drug problem made by Interior Minister Sheikh Talal Al Khalid. 


The requirements for opening private clinics to treat drug addicts were laid out by the Ministry of Health. The goal is to use the most cutting-edge, innovative treatment approaches currently being used globally. The meeting also emphasised the urgency of filling open positions in ministries and authorities. It is anticipated that the names to fill the positions will be approved soon.
