Home delivery service of civil cards is suspended

Kuwait City, Jan 31: The Public Authority for Civil Information stopped the service of delivering ready-made civil cards to homes, due to the failure to renew the contract with the specialized company. The last request for renewal of the contract was submitted to the State Audit Bureau on July 28, 2021. The Authority for Civil Information obtains 650 fils from the financial value paid by the card holder, which is two dinars, while the rest of the collection value goes to the beneficiary company. The Audit Bureau report revealed that the company will continue to provide its services during 2022, despite the end of the contract last July, while the authority stopped the service only this month.
