Philippines won't stop recruitment of Filipino workers to Kuwait

Kuwait City, Feb 1: The Minister of Migrant Labor in the Republic of the Philippines, Susan Ople, affirmed that her country will not prevent the recruitment of Filipino workers to Kuwait.A press statement issued by the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait quoted Minister Ople's emphasis on excluding stopping the recruitment of Filipino workers to the country.

The embassy said that the Filipino Chargé d'Affaires to Kuwait, Jose Almodovar Cabrera III, praised the measures taken by the Kuwaiti authorities to arrest the juvenile who committed the murder of Jollibee Ranara, the Filipino domestic worker and the interest of the concerned authorities' close follow-up to the incident.
