Kuwait has the highest percentage of expats in government sector in Gulf

Kuwait City, March 1: The percentage of expats working in the government sector in Kuwait is the highest among the Gulf countries, with a percentage of about 23%  of the total government employees.

According to the latest statistics of the Public Authority for Civil Information, the number of workers in the public sector amounted to about 483.2 thousand employees, of whom 372.8 thousand Kuwaitis constitute about 77 percent of the total. The number of expatriates employed in the government reached about 110.4 thousand.
