Over 10,000 expats terminated in 2023

Statistics have indicated that the number of expatriates terminated in the first six months of this year has exceeded 10,000, with a corresponding increase in the number of deportations. More than one thousand expats in the deportation center are scheduled to be deported in this month. The deportees have been found to have committed a variety of criminal offenses, including drug use, fighting, theft, the production of liquor, and violations of residence permits.

According to sources, the most frequent nationalities who have been deported are Indians, Filipino nationals, Sri Lankan nationals, Egyptian nationals, and Bangladeshis. Furthermore, according to statistics, nearly 250,000 individuals left Kuwait permanently in the previous year, of which 7,000 were employed in the government sector.
