On Thursday, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Egypt and Morocco condemned the targeting of civilian population and "unacceptable violations" of international law in the Gaza Strip, which has been heavily bombarded by Israel. The Arab foreign ministers said that Israel’s “right to self-defense” after the October 7 attack by Hamas does not justify ignoring the rights of Palestinians.
