MoCI warns against unjustified price hikes on products

A press release has been issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to warn businesses and sales outlets to refrain from raising prices on essential products within the local market.


The Ministry is determined to fulfill its legal obligations to address infringements and protect consumer rights. In serious cases, the Ministry has declared its readiness to take the most serious legal action, including immediate closure of the business.
