Khaled Dhawi, the Acting Director General of the Roads and Land Transport Authority, recently declared that the authority has concluded its examination of the technical proposals for the advisory study tender concerning the Gulf Railway Project. He further highlighted that the authority has forwarded its recommendation to the Central Tenders Agency, urging them to make the decision to grant the relevant office.
He clarified that the advisory study will be implemented within a span of 12 months. Following this, the project implementation tender will be issued, adhering to the conventional tender system, with a duration of 30 months. He further highlighted that as per the proposed timeline for the Kuwait-related segment, it is anticipated to conclude by the end of 2028.
