This morning, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf, will hold an expanded security meeting with Assistant Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Interior and field security leaders, to discuss the security plan for securing New Year’s celebrations.
Informed security sources said that this plan focuses on securing the sites that witness gatherings and celebrations on the occasion of New Year, as well as securing the ring and main roads leading to those sites, pointing out that the ministry has allocated more than 1,500 security personnel and 500 patrols to implement the plan.
