The strategic water reserve in Kuwait continued to break records in terms of the total quantities of water stored during the recent period, as the highest rate recorded reached 4,186 million imperial gallons, an increase of 11 million gallons from the highest rate recorded at the beginning of this week.
Informed sources in the ministry told there are several current and future projects to increase water storage capacity in line with the increase in residential area, with the aim of enhancing the country’s strategic water reserve, including the nine Al-Mutla’ reservoir projects and the reservoirs of the Wafra and Na’ayem areas.
