49 reckless persons arrested in a traffic campaign last week

The Traffic Sector, under direct instructions from the Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Security Affairs, Traffic Affairs and Operations, Major General Abdullah Al-Rujaib, carried out a traffic campaign throughout the past week, which resulted in issuing 21,471 violations, and referring 305 vehicles and 57 motorcycles to the impound garage, in addition to seizing 49 violators and reckless persons. 


About 7 juveniles were referred to the prosecution, 27 people wanted in connection with security and criminal cases were arrested, 76 vehicles wanted by security and judicial authorities, one person was arrested on charges of possessing and using narcotic substances, and another was arrested on charges of possessing a firearm.
