Kuwait Customs confiscate 260,000 bags containing prohibited tobacco

In two distinct occurrences, the diligent customs officials stationed at Shuwaikh Port effectively thwarted the infiltration of approximately 260,000 bags of prohibited tobacco. These illicit items were concealed within an empty diesel tank and wooden furniture panels that originated from a Gulf country. Osama Al-Shami, the Deputy Director General for Customs Ports Affairs, underscored the unwavering commitment of customs officers in protecting the nation from individuals who endeavor to smuggle forbidden substances.
