Today, the Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority called on mobile and fixed telecommunications subscribers to update their data to ensure their continued access to services from companies.
Acting Director of the Competition and Operators Affairs Department at the Authority, Khaled Al-Qarawi, told the Kuwait News Agency that the regulations for registering subscribers’ data in telecommunications services oblige all licensees to urge their customers to update expired data and personal information registered with companies. Al-Qarawi added that the updating step aims to ensure the continuation of the service provided to subscribers to reduce fraudulent operations.
