This year's Eid Al-Fitr holiday duration will depend on whether the holy month of Ramadan lasts for 30 days. Reports have indicated that if Ramadan ends on April 9, then Eid Al-Fitr will be observed from April 10 to April 12 (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday), with April 14 (Sunday) being designated as a day off in place of Friday (April 12), pending Cabinet approval. In the event of approval, the Eid holiday will span six days. Conversely, if Ramadan does not reach 30 days, the Eid holiday will only last for three days — from April 9 to April 11 (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), as per sources.
