Mubarakiya Meat Shops Closed Due to Sale of Spoiled Meat

The Food and Nutrition Public Authority has taken action by confiscating more than 500 kilograms of spoiled meat in Mubarakiya, resulting in the shutdown of numerous butcher and meat shops. The infractions have been reported to the prosecution without delay. Muhammad Al-Kandari, the director of the Mubarakiya Center at the Authority, stressed the organization's dedication to upholding regulations and safeguarding consumers against food contamination. Following the operation, a total of nine establishments were shuttered, and various violations were recorded following the seizure of around 506 kilograms of tainted meat, deemed unsuitable for human consumption.
