Kuwait International Airport, with its three terminals, “T1, T4, and T5,” is in a state of maximum security and field alert with the entry of the travel season, as Assistant Director of the General Administration of Airport Security, Brigadier General Badr Al-Shaya, expected that the airport, with its three ports, will witness the reception of 5.5 million people, between departures and arrivals, during 105 days, carrying 42 thousand flights.
Al-Shaya confirmed that all measures have been taken to facilitate the movement of passengers, whether at departure or arrival, indicating that “the procedures for stamping the passport for a traveler through Kuwait Airport only take 7 seconds, and if the employee is under training, it does not exceed 20 seconds,” stressing at the same time the application of the procedures. Security is highly effective in inspecting and checking travelers.
