The First Deputy Prime Minister, who also serves as the Minister of Defense and Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Al-Sabah, has enacted a decision to revise Article Eight of Ministerial Resolution No. 271/2020. This resolution pertains to the suspension of new license issuance for motor vehicles belonging to companies and institutions involved in the transportation or delivery of goods, or those intending to enter this commercial sector. Existing companies and institutions engaged in this activity are permitted to replace their out-of-service motor vehicles in accordance with the regulations set forth by the General Traffic Department (GTD).
