Kuwait ranked fifth in the Gulf, ninth in the Arab world, and 139th globally in the latest classification of the quality of living for expatriates and their families around the world from the international consulting company Mercer. Dubai came in first place in the Middle East, followed by Abu Dhabi in second place. On the other hand, Doha ranked third in the Arab world and 109 globally, Muscat fourth in the Arab world and 119 internationally, Casablanca 37 globally, Rabat 127 globally, Tunisia 129 globally, then Amman 137 globally.
The new classification evaluates 450 cities around the world and classifies them according to their exceptional standards of living, strong infrastructure, and vibrant cultural scenes.
