Kuwait Sends Back Over 35,000 Expatriates in 2024

In alignment with the Ministry of Interior's initiatives to identify and apprehend individuals violating residency regulations, reliable sources have disclosed that the Deportation Department, which operates under the General Department of Correctional Facilities, has successfully finalized the deportation processes for around 35,000 male and female expatriates referred to it by different divisions of the Ministry over the past year.


It was emphasized that the Deportation Department is committed to streamlining the procedures for expatriates awaiting deportation, thereby hastening the overall deportation process while ensuring that humanitarian principles are upheld and that detainees are treated with dignity throughout their confinement.
