Dubai has rolled out a 5-year multiple-entry visa for Indian citizens, a move expected to significantly boost tourism and business travel between India and the UAE. With this visa, Indian nationals can enter Dubai multiple times and stay for up to 90 days per visit, extendable by another 90 days — though total stay cannot exceed 180 days in a calendar year.
The visa aligns with the D33 Dubai Economic Agenda introduced by Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum, aiming to position Dubai among the world’s top three cities for business and entertainment. Visa processing is swift, taking only two to five days.
India was Dubai’s leading tourism source market in 2023, with 2.4 million Indian visitors compared to 1.84 million in 2022. Officials believe the new visa policy will further encourage Indian tourists and entrepreneurs to explore Dubai’s dynamic offerings.
India and the UAE share centuries-old cultural and economic ties, and experts see this visa as a step to deepen those relations while contributing to Dubai’s broader economic and tourism goals.
