Major Security Crackdown in Hawalli Nets 524 Traffic Violations and Multiple Arrests

Kuwait's Ministry of Interior has announced the results of extensive security and traffic campaigns conducted by the Emergency Police in the Hawalli Governorate, specifically targeting the Salwa and Rumaithiya areas. The operations led to a wide range of enforcement actions, including the issuance of 524 various traffic violations and the seizure of multiple vehicles. The primary goal was to enhance security presence, apprehend violators, and deter activities that threaten public safety.

The campaigns resulted in numerous arrests, including two individuals with existing arrest warrants and seven people found in possession of narcotic and intoxicating substances. Authorities also arrested five people in an "abnormal condition," seven violators of residency and labor laws, and one individual wanted for criminal execution. In total, 16 vehicles were impounded for various violations.

The General Directorate of Emergency Police reaffirmed its commitment to continuing these intensive campaigns across all regions. The agency stated it will persistently take legal action against anyone who violates the laws, underscoring that these efforts are crucial for maintaining public security and enhancing traffic safety for all citizens and residents.
