Kuwait's Ministry of Interior has dismantled a sophisticated marijuana farm that was being operated illegally from a private residence in the Sabah Al-Salem area. The operation was conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department after surveillance and investigation teams detected suspicious activity linked to narcotics cultivation. Following the raid, authorities arrested an expatriate who was residing in the country illegally.

Inside the home, police discovered a professionally set-up cultivation environment designed to accelerate plant growth. The facility was equipped with specialized lighting and ventilation systems. The raid led to the seizure of significant evidence, including 27 marijuana seedlings, 1 kilogram of ready-to-use marijuana, 50 grams of seeds, and two sensitive scales used for weighing and distributing the drugs.

The General Department of Narcotics Control confirmed that the suspect was cultivating the drugs for both personal use and trafficking. The accused has been referred to the competent authorities for legal action. The department reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to pursuing drug dealers and taking firm action against anyone who threatens the security and safety of society, urging public cooperation in reporting suspicious activities.
