NO HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN KUWAIT, ONLY TRADE IN RESIDENCE PERMITS

Kuwait City :The Court of Cassation issued the second and final ruling in the residency trafficking cases, which were exposed by the Corona crisis in the middle of last year.The Court of Cassation, headed by Counselor Ahmed Al-Ajil, ruled that a colonel in the Ministry of the Interior and Egyptian expatriates were imprisoned for 3 years for violating the residency law and bringing labor in exchange for sums of money.As for the charges of human trafficking and money laundering, the court ruled that they were acquitted, as they were not proven.According to reports ,sources disclosed with this ruling, there is no human trafficking in Kuwait, but rather trade in residence, explaining that there is a big difference between the two
