THREE INDIANS INJURED IN SAUDI DRONE STRIKE

Riyadh: Three Indians were injured in a drone strike by Houthis from Yemen on the Abha International Airport in Saudi Arabia. A total of eight people were injured in the attack. The injured Indians are said to be from Bihar.


In addition to the Indians, three Bangladeshi nationals, a Nepali national and a Saudi national were injured. Of these, the condition of a Bangladeshi citizen is critical. The announcement was made by Brigadier General Turkey al - Maliki, a spokesman for the Arab League.

The bomber struck shortly after 9:06 a.m, Tuesday at the Abha International Airport in Saudi Arabia. The wreckage of the drone struck, injuring eight ground handling workers. A Saudi Airlines Boeing 320 aircraft and some ground handling equipment parked at the airport were damaged.

Earlier in the day, Saudi forces defeated another drone strike on Abha airport. But no one was injured in the attack. The Arab League has accused the Houthis of committing war crimes in two separate attacks on the airport within 24 hours.
