SAUDI MINISTRTY OF LABOR EXPECTS TO EMPLOY 2.13 LAKH NATIONALS THIS YEAR

Jeddah: The Saudi Ministry of Manpower and Community Development (Ministry of Labor) aims to provide employment to 2.13 lakh expatriate job seekers before the end of the current year, according to the latest plans for job creation. The remote employment and freelancer platforms set up by the ministry are expected to help in this regard. Minister explained that the number of employment items under the Nitakhat program has been reduced to 32 and the rate of repatriation has been linked to the total number of workers. The Minister explained that the Nitwaqat program is aimed at facilitating the private sector and increasing the participation of indigenous forces in the labor market.
