KUWAIT BANS FILIMING INSIDE CEMETERIES

Kuwait City: The Fatwa Board under the Ministry of Awqaf has stated that copying of posthumous ceremonies and media coverage is not permitted without a specific reason. The board also said that women are not allowed to do this work. 


The board responded to questions about women's participation in media coverage of cemeteries. The board clarified that it is not legally permissible to copy photographs of posthumous ceremonies and to cover them in cemeteries without a specific reason.
