PUBLIC FIRE SERVICE WITH WARNING TO THOSE WHO USE HEATERS IN THEIR HOMES IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The Public Fire Service has warned citizens and residents to be careful when using coal, firewood, gas heaters and kerosene in their homes. Also, be careful when using the heater in enclosed spaces, including on farms and parks. Using a heater in a room with insufficient ventilation can lead to accidents 


Inhalation of toxic carbon monoxide when using heaters in an enclosed space can lead to suffocation, poisoning and even death. Colonel Mohammad Badar Ibrahim, Director, Public Fire Service Media Unit, reminded that accidents in Kuwait are a recurring theme due to such carelessness.
