MANPOWER AUTHORITY OF KUWAIT WILL NOT ISSUE WORK PERMITS TO PEOPLE IN SOME COUNTRIES WHERE NEW VARIANT HAS REPORTED

Kuwait City: The Manpower Authority on Monday said it will not issue work permits to people in some African countries after the confirmation of the new genetically modified covid variant, Omicron. The Manpower Authority has made it clear that all decisions in this case are for the ministerial high-level committee to deal with covid. 


At the same time, Social Affairs Minister Musallam al-Zubai responded that the new restrictions and precautions for entering the complex of social care homes were in line with the recommendations of the country's health department. He added that care homes still take precautions such as wearing a mask, using a sanitizer and keeping a social distance.
