Kuwaiti oil barrel rises to $76

The price of a barrel of Kuwaiti oil rose 65 cents to reach $76 a barrel in trading yesterday, Wednesday, compared to $75.35 in trading yesterday, according to the price announced by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.

In global markets, Brent crude futures rose 38 cents to $75.82 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 31 cents to $72.31.
