CHANCE FOR SCATTERED RAIN DURING WEEKEND IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: According to the Meteorological Department, due to an air depression belt with southwest winds, a warm and humid air mass, and a likelihood of low and medium clouds emerging on the horizon, there is a risk for sporadic rain with thunder till Saturday. The weather today will be warm, with clouds gradually appearing, with southeasterly light to moderate winds, active at intervals ranging between 15 and 45 kilometres per hour, causing dust, especially over open areas, and maximum temperatures between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius, according to the daily, citing Yasser Al-Balushi, Head of the Marine Forecasting Department. It will be a light to moderate sea. The waves are forecast to surge in height at intervals of 2 to 6 feet. 


Al-Balushi said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency that the weather tonight will be cold, with southeasterly winds varying from light to moderate speed, active at intervals ranging between 8 and 40 kilometres per hour, a chance of scattered rain with thunderstorms at times, a chance of fog in some areas, and a minimum temperature of 12 to 14 degrees Celsius. On Friday, the weather will be warm and partly cloudy, with southeasterly to northwesterly mild to moderate winds, active at intervals of 15 to 40 kilometres per hour, creating dust, especially over open areas, and a chance of scattered showers, which might be thundery at times. 

The highest temperature is forecast to be between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius, the sea will be mild to moderate, and the waves will surge in waves of 2 to 6 feet in height at intervals. The weather on Saturday, according to Al Balushi, will be moderate, with clouds and the chance of thunder rain gradually diminishing. Winds will be northwesterly light to moderate, with speeds ranging between 15 and 45 kilometres per hour, causing dust, especially in open areas, and maximum temperatures expected to be between 20 and 22 degrees.
