Kuwait City: Domestic labour recruitment agencies are pleased with the Cabinet's decision to discontinue the "Kuwait Mosafer" and "Bal Salama" platforms for domestic workers, as well as the "Mina" system for accrediting international laboratories for the issuance of PCR certificates. According to the owners, this measure, which is in line with restoring normalcy to Kuwait, has a good impact on the labour market and newly hired workers, particularly domestics.

Bassam Al- Shammari, a domestic labour affairs specialist, thanked the Cabinet and government agencies for responding to office owners' demands to halt the "Bal Salama platform," emphasising that the decision will have a significant impact on the domestic labour market, especially given the severe shortage that it is currently experiencing, and will accelerate the pace of recruitment from abroad, as well as increase the appetite of workers to come to Kuwait.
