ACTION AGAINST TWO PEOPLE FOR CREATING FORGED ENGINEERING CERTIFICATE

Kuwait City: Action was taken against two people who obtained a work license by presenting a fake engineering degree certificate in Bahrain. A 38-year-old native and a 46-year-old expatriate have been prosecuted in the Bahrain Lower Criminal Court. The accused expatriate is absconding.


The documents show that the accused worked on the basis of fake degree certificates and fabricated licensing documents. And steps have also been taken to obtain a license by providing false documents to the Council that authorizes engineers to work in Bahrain.

The native who is facing action applied for the engineering license in 2007 and the non-resident in 2014. An engineering degree certificate obtained from a university in Pakistan was submitted. The application was considered and the license was granted to both of them.
