Three medical experts have affirmed that artificial intelligence technologies are revolutionizing healthcare by improving diagnostic accuracy, accelerating drug discovery, and enhancing treatment personalization. Dr. Anwar Mohammed, a researcher at Dasman Diabetes Institute, stated that AI has become pivotal in medical sciences, particularly through technologies like AlphaFold that predict protein structures and accelerate drug discovery by identifying therapeutic targets.

Dr. Abdullah Marafi, a dentist at Kuwait's Ministry of Health, emphasized that AI serves as a "clinical co-pilot" in dentistry, achieving 94.4% accuracy in detecting tooth decay through radiographic analysis—surpassing human doctors' 91.1% accuracy. The technology also enables precise dental implant planning through 3D scan analysis and improves orthodontic treatment simulation through systems like Invisalign.

Ohoud Al-Enezi, President of the Kuwaiti Society of Nuclear Medicine, highlighted AI's revolutionary impact on nuclear medicine, where it analyzes PET and SPECT scans with high accuracy for rapid disease diagnosis. FDA-approved AI-supported medical devices have dramatically increased from six in 2015 to 221 in 2023, demonstrating the technology's growing integration into healthcare systems across specializations.
