Qatar's Meteorological Department has forecast thunderstorms and rain across various parts of the country for September 14 and 15, 2025. The weather agency has predicted locally formed clouds will bring occasional rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, with strong winds expected to reach speeds of 25 nautical miles in some areas.
The department has warned that weather changes may cause light dust storms in certain regions, with winds blowing from northwest to northeast at 5-15 nautical miles generally, increasing to 25 nautical miles in specific areas. Along coastal regions, scattered clouds will enhance rainfall possibilities, with northwestern winds expected at 7-17 km/h, gusting to 23 km/h in northern areas.
Residents have been advised to prepare for changing weather conditions and potential reduced visibility due to dust storms. The meteorological department continues to monitor conditions and will provide updates as the weather system develops over the two-day period.
