Qatar has officially started the process for Hajj pilgrims to obtain their required medical fitness certificates. The Primary Healthcare Corporation (PHCC), in coordination with the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf), announced that applications are now being accepted online until October 31st. The PHCC is the sole authorized institution in Qatar to issue this essential health clearance for the pilgrimage.
Applicants can visit any PHCC Family Medicine Center for their evaluation, with services available throughout the week during both morning and evening hours. Appointments can be scheduled in advance, but walk-ins are also accepted. The medical assessment ensures pilgrims meet health standards set by the Saudi Ministry of Health, checking for conditions that could complicate the journey, such as serious chronic illnesses, infectious diseases, or advanced pregnancy.
This system is designed to ensure the safety and well-being of all pilgrims. The evaluation results are securely linked with the Awqaf department, streamlining the registration process and ensuring compliance with international health regulations for the Hajj pilgrimage.
