Qatar Airways is expanding its fleet with the introduction of the Airbus A321neo aircraft, configured in an all-economy 236-seat layout to serve high-demand regional destinations. The new aircraft will begin operations on October 16, 2025, starting with the Doha to Medina route, followed by flights to Multan, Peshawar, and Sharjah from October 26. Additional services to Sialkot will commence on November 3, and Tbilisi will be added starting January 1, 2026.

The A321neo is equipped with advanced in-flight entertainment through the Thales FlightEdge system, supporting streaming to both in-seat screens and personal devices. The aircraft is also designed for future integration with Starlink internet, ensuring enhanced connectivity for passengers. This modernization effort is part of Qatar Airways' broader strategy to replace older A320-family aircraft and expand its regional operational capabilities.

With a total order of 50 A321-family aircraft (including 40 A321neos and 10 A321LRs), the airline aims to boost capacity and efficiency on routes with high passenger volume but low demand for premium cabins. This move underscores Qatar Airways' commitment to optimizing its fleet for regional markets while improving the overall passenger experience through state-of-the-art technology and increased seating capacity.
