UMRAH TRAVEL BY LAND IS IN HIGH DEMAND

Kuwait City: According to reliable sources, there has been a noticeable rise in demand for Umrah (minor pilgrimage) trips by land in recent months due to the affordable travel packages available. Prices for these packages range from KD 95 to KD 150, depending on the housing options, trip length, and timing. They explained that during the month of September, road trips for Umrah are available with durations ranging from 6 to 11 days and prices beginning at KD 95. 


Travel for all ages and for women without a mahram is permitted, which increases demand for family-wide travel to carry out rituals. The sources continued by stating that the Prophet's (PBUH) Birthday holiday will take place in the month of October, and as a result, travel agencies will offer six-day trips starting at KD 125, depending on the options related to the size and type of accommodations. The price will gradually rise up to KD 150 per pilgrim in a room as the number of pilgrims sharing a room decreases.
