ACCORDING TO CIVIL INFORMATION, THERE ARE 77% MALE INDIANS AND FEMALE FILIPINOS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City : Industry estimates that the total population of the country is 4.464 million people. This is the figure till June 2022. Of these, 1.5 million are Kuwaiti citizens. 2.962 million inhabitants. The data shows that 87 percent of them are registered as workers in various fields. 


Women workers from certain countries dominate their total numbers when assessing the working community of the country. 99% of the Filipinos in Kuwait are women.  

Meanwhile, the majority of employed Indians are men, at 77 percent. The number of domestic workers has also increased in the country. 99,500 new workers have been added in six months of this year. The total number of domestic workers in the country has reached 693,000. It was 593,000 at the end of last year. 

The domestic labor market is dominated by workers from India. 45.6 percent of them are male. Filipino workers are second with 163,000 female workers. Civil Information also shows that the total number of workers till the first six months of this year, excluding the number of domestic workers, is 1.9 million.
