PASSENGERS AT KUWAIT AIRPORT SURPASSED 8.224 MILLION THIS YEAR

Kuwait City: Kuwait International Airport Affairs Deputy Director General Salih Al Fadaghi stated that flights will adjust to the travel requirements for the winter season starting next November. There will be direct flight services to various countries depending on the demand. Apart from flights to Moscow, Ankara, Izmir, Maldives and Khartoum, there will be more services to Qasim and Taif in Saudi Arabia.


He informed that new destinations will be studied and approved after airlines submit their proposed travel schedules in coordination with ground service providers and the airport sector. The demand for air travel has increased since the crisis period of the Covid pandemic. The total number of passengers from January to September this year was around 8.224 million on 68,621 flights.
