REFUGEES CAN ALSO ENJOY WORLD CUP, QATAR TO SET UP FANZONES IN CAMPS

Doha: Qatar will set up fan zones for displaced refugees while the world is engrossed in the FIFA World Cup. Fan zones will be set up in refugee camps in some countries, including Bangladesh, Sudan, Iraq and Jordan. Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Lulwa Bint Rashid Al Qatar announced this in a press conference. 


Up to 6,800 fans are expected per day across the three centers in Bangladesh. At the same time, 50,000 fans will come to enjoy the World Cup in four centers in Sudan and 2,400 fans in three centers in Iraq. 55,364 fans will have the opportunity to enjoy the World Cup live in 10 fan zones in Jordan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar Fund for Development, Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC), Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), Qatar Charity and BINSports are working with the aim of 'Qatar for All'.
