Kuwaiti woman arrested for fraud

Kuwait City, Feb 25: A Kuwaiti woman working in the Ministry of Interior has been arrested in a fraud case. She was arrested for illegally receiving money to obtain approval from a cabinet-affiliated entity for a transaction related to the registration of a residential property in the name of an expatriate. She claimed that she was an influential person and her father and sister held important positions in the cabinet.

The information came to light when the victim filed a complaint at the Salmiya police station demanding the return of the entire amount after realizing the fraud. When the victim inquired the authorities related to the ministry, it was realized that he had been cheated. Then the complaint was filed.
