7 expats arrested for receiving bribe to issue civil cards

Kuwait City, March 3: The Ministry of the Interior, represented by the residence affairs investigations, in coordination with the Civil Information Authority, referred 7 expatriates to the Public Prosecution, after they were caught red-handed by taking sums of money as a bribe, to issue civil cards in a short time.

An official source said that the Civil Information Authority has addressed the Ministry of Interior with the presence of a group of workers belonging to security, guarding, cleaning and correspondence companies. The seven defendants confessed to the residency investigation of their crime, and were referred to the prosecution.
