WHO warned about 14 cough medicines after children's death

Kuwait City, March 4: Over the past five months, at least 300 children have died around the world after taking certain types of cough medicine. The World Health Organization issued a warning regarding 14 classes of cough medicines for children, which are sold in Africa, Southeast Asia and Europe. 

According to the British newspaper 'The Sun', the cough medicines were contaminated with toxic chemicals, ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol, which are used in windshield wipers and engine coolants.
