KuwaitSat-1 takes its first picture of Kuwait

Kuwait City, April 8: The national project team for the first Kuwaiti satellite of Kuwait University “KuwaitSat-1” announced that the satellite had captured several images of the State of Kuwait and merged them into MOSAIC, in order to present a beautiful view of the eastern half of Kuwait from the islands of Warba and Bubiyan, then Kuwait City and Failaka Island to the Burgan field and the southern region of the coast of Kuwait. The team congratulates the State of Kuwait, the leadership and the people, for this achievement.

This youthful achievement of the KuwaitSat-1 national project, which is supported by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), is the result of continuous efforts and hard work by a specialized team of young Kuwaiti scientists and engineers over the past three months, after the launch of Kuwaitsat-1 on the date January 3, 2023.
